We also understand our agents put all efforts in pursuing additional tasks of promoting their listings. In addition, the cost of marketing a listing has increased as a result of the longer duration in the market – and many times factors that are out of the control of the company and agents (i.e.: overflow of homes listed and not enough qualified buyers, extending process of short sale due to circumstances out of the control of the company and listing agent), therefore increasing the commission split heighten the visibility of home listed and increase the chance for higher price offering for the listing.
